High End 2023 – Sennheiser presents audiophile portfolio and custom comfort tips

Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH, the company that represents the Sennheiser brand in the consumer segment, said that it intends to present a broad product portfolio of audiophile solutions at the High End 2023 in Munich. The pilot project Sennheiser Custom Comfort Tips around the Sennheiser IE Series will also be in the spotlight.

Story Highlights
  • In addition to a broad product portfolio, Sennheiser's focus at High End 2023 will be on the Sennheiser Custom Comfort Tips pilot project for the Sennheiser IE Series.

The Sennheiser brand is to be represented at the High End 2023 with a particularly broad product portfolio of audiophile solutions. This is the goal of Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH, the company that will continue the renowned brand in the headphone and soundbar systems sector and thus in the consumer segment.

In particular, a number of current and new headphone models will be presented in Munich, but the focus will also be on a pilot project, namely the so-called Sennheiser Custom Comfort Tips around the Sennheiser IE Series.

Sennheiser HD 660S2, Sennheiser IE 200 and Sennheiser HE 1

The new Sennheiser HD 660S2 is intended to expand the Sennheiser 600 Series, that is, the product line that is understood to be the long-standing benchmark for audiophile headphones of the highest quality, as the manufacturer literally states. The focus here is on a performance for the most emotional listening experience possible, hence also on a particularly powerful reproduction in the bass range. With an outstanding precision as well as a warm, relaxed sound image, it is supposed to be the answer to the feedback of the hi-fi community, as Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH states.

The new Sennheiser IE 200 is intended to continue the success story of the Sennheiser IE Series, with the manufacturer referring to it as a particularly high-performance in-ear headphone. The new Sennheiser IE 200 builds on the legacy of its sister models and is aimed at audiophile music lovers who want a performance with exceptional depth, crystal-clear detail in the highs and a commanding mid-range image, even when on the move.

Visitors to High End 2023 will also be able to experience the Sennheiser HE 1, a hearing system that, according to Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH, stands for precision in performance and can convey exceptional spatiality like no other. With an ultra-wide frequency range from 8 Hz to 100 kHz and a distortion factor of only 0.01 percent at a sound pressure level of 100 dB, the Sennheiser HE 1 combines technical finesse that is unique in this form.

Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus

With the Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus, the company is also presenting a particularly exciting product in Munich that addresses a very specific problem: it is said to be a solution that is ideal for clearly understandable conversations in noisy environments, such as a busy restaurant or near a busy street, where many people find it difficult to understand conversations clearly. The new Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus features advanced speech intelligibility technology that ensures that conversations with fellow human beings always take centre stage – no matter what the environment.

Sennheiser Custom Comfort Tips for the Sennheiser IE Series

With the new Sennheiser Custom Comfort Tips, Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH wants to provide a completely new sound experience for the models of the Sennheiser IE Series, i.e. the in-ear headphones that appeal to audiophile music lovers as a wired solution.

It is well known that the optimal fit of in-ear headphones is an essential prerequisite for their full potential. In-ear headphones that fit too loosely lack mid-range and bass, lack dynamics and simply lose energy. In-ear headphones that are too low or too tight deliver an oversized bass, quite apart from the fact that both variants outlined are simply unpleasant.

Many manufacturers provide a remedy here with ear tips in a wide variety of sizes, shapes and materials, which are supplied with the in-ear headphones.

Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH is now focusing on individual solutions as part of the Sennheiser Custom Comfort Tips pilot project, which it plans to implement in Germany together with GEERS.

With custom ear tips, two counterparts are created by moulding the ear canals using a scan or silicone compound. They fit perfectly in the corresponding ear, are incomparably comfortable and can be fitted to any of the audiophile earphones Sennheiser IE 200, Sennheiser IE 300, Sennheiser IE 600 or Sennheiser IE 900.

When and where – the facts…

The High End 2023 will take place from 18 to 21 May 2023 at the MOC Event Center Messe München, Lilienthalallee 40, D-80939 Munich. The 18th and 19th of May 2023 are reserved for trade visitors only, the two remaining days are open to the general public. The presentation of Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH around the Sennheiser brand can be found in Hall 1, Stand D02/E07.

Getting to the point
