Roberts Stylus and Roberts Stylus Luxe – with these two new record players, the long-established English company Roberts Radio Ltd. now also wants to play a role in the still flourishing market segment, concentrating on solutions that are aimed at a particularly wide range of customers. The English company is convinced that these customers want a turntable that is ready to play and easy to handle. And that is exactly what the two new solutions are supposed to offer.

Roberts Stylus and Roberts Stylus Luxe – For an appealing sound experience

Roberts Radio Ltd. is convinced that, in addition to streaming, many music lovers are increasingly turning to records to experience the unique sound and feel that only a record can offer. For this reason, the company has decided to expand its own product portfolio with two record players that are designed to provide precisely this appealing sound experience in a particularly simple way and in the environment of a wide variety of audio systems.

Mounted cartridge, integrated phono preamplifier – Ready to play immediately

Both the Roberts Stylus and Roberts Stylus Luxe are designed so that the user can start playing music immediately after unpacking and setting up. The turntables thus have pre-assembled pick-up systems as well as an integrated phono preamplifier.

Roberts Radio Ltd. emphasises that the integrated phono preamplifier allows the Roberts Stylus and Roberts Stylus Luxe to be connected to almost any audio system, from soundbars and all-in-one solutions to active loudspeaker systems.

If you have an amplifier with an integrated phono preamplifier, you can of course also use it, because the phono preamplifier in the record players can be deactivated if desired.

Digitising records possible

Another important point from the point of view of Roberts Radio Ltd. is that both Roberts Stylus and Roberts Stylus Luxe turntables have an integrated A/D converter and USB port, so that they can be connected to a PC or Mac to digitise records directly. Corresponding software is available for all relevant platforms in various forms.

Roberts Stylus – Belt-Drive Turntable

The Roberts Stylus is a belt-driven turntable, the speed of which can be easily selected between 33 1/3 and 45 revolutions per minute by means of a switch.

As already mentioned, the turntable is equipped with a pick-up system ex works, whereby it is a model from Audio-Technica, specifically an Audio-Technica AT3600L MM cartridge.

Roberts Stylus Luxe – Drive with Direct Drive

The Roberts Stylus Luxe is supposed to offer high-quality materials and sophisticated technology. Interestingly, the drive is designed as a direct drive. Of course, the speed can be selected at the touch of a button between 33 1/3 and 45 revolutions per minute.

The tonearm is made of carbon, as the manufacturer states, and the factory-installed cartridge is an Audio-Technica AT-95E MM cartridge.

The design is also something special, a real highlight for the living room. The Roberts Stylus Luxe has a walnut look and a front panel made of brushed aluminium.
